In Moelenbeek, Brussels, police stopped a burka-wearing Muslima for an ID check. She refused to lift her veil, so they escorted her to the police station, where she again refused to comply with their demand that she show her face. The woman, described as a 25-year-old convert to Islam who had already been booked many times for similar offences, was extremely aggressive. She struck several of the police officers, some of whom required hospital treatment.
Meanwhile, a Muslim mob of about 100 had been quickly summoned by mobile phone. They surrounded the police station, throwing missiles at the police. Anti-riot units had to deploy.
The Socialist mayor of the area, Philippe Moureaux, has blamed the group Sharia4Belgium for the incident. He has issued a decree banning any gathering of more than 5 people in the district in case the mob returns tonight.

I'm British myself and still follow the news there closely even though I live in Spain now. I try to keep an eye on Islam-related developments across Europe. Italy is probably the major gap in my knowledge since I don't understand the language, although I plan to learn it in future. So if you have any news of Islam/immigration related developments there, it would be especially welcome.

Hi, I'm an Iranian, yes definitely wherever Islam goes freedom dies but I think better to say wherever religion goes not only Islam.just remember what Christianity did in Europe in the medieval time. in fact the source of Islam,Christianity is the same and it is Judaism.
